RESEARCH FOCUS AND INTERESTS

Research Fields: Process Development, Rigorous Simulation (including process design, control, optimization, intensification and Heat Integration), Data-based modeling.

1. Plant-wide green energy systems (coal/biomass gasification, syngas utilization, poly-generation processes)

2. Bio-oil production processes (hydrothermal liquefaction, Pyrolysis, Gasification)

3. CO2 capture and utilization

4. Reactive distillation and dividing-wall columns.

5. Separation of azeotropic mixtures

6. Data-based modeling on the real plants
