The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, has three full-time/tenure-track position openings at Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, starting February 1, 2023. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in chemical processes, materials science and technology (green energy nanomaterials or biomaterials), and biochemical technology. Job responsibilities include research, teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and departmental-wide services (e.g., mentorship to students).

Required qualifications: We invite applicants with a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or related fields. Applicants for the Assistant Professor position must have earned a Ph.D. degree prior to August 1, 2022, preferably demonstrating international or industrial experience.

Compensation and benefits: CGU offers internationally competitive compensation package commensurate to professional performance. Total salary (including standard salary and merit pay) may add up to > 100 k USD per year. Start-up funding for lab equipment is available for new hires. Health insurance and retirement benefits are provided according to government regulations in Taiwan.
